Here's a quote I found in an old journal of mine.
"...truly ethical conduct must not be inspired by the hope of a reward, nor forced by the fear of punishment. Truly ethical conduct must proceed sorely from a desire to do what is right, from a love of God and a desire to fulfill his commandments".
